Tiana Penitani (born 12 January 1996) is a semi-professional Rugby Union player. She represents Australia in Sevens Rugby. Born in Canberra, ACT and playing for Maroubra at a club level, she debuted for Australia in March 2013. As of December 2015, she currently has 11 caps.

Tiana, along with Brooke Anderson, captained Australia to a memorable Gold Medal at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics, held in China. This was the first time Rugby Sevens had been part of the Olympic programme since 1924. The tournament was Tiana’s first in 14 months, following a serious knee injury sustained at the 2013 Rugby World Cup Sevens. At 17 years and 163 days old, Tiana became Australia's youngest ever representative in either 15s or 7s at a World Cup, when she represented Australia in Russia.[1] She scored 6 tries at the 2013 World Cup.

Representative Honours include Australian Championships Athletics, Australian Oztag, Oztag Under-18 World Cup (2012), Australian Youth Olympic Festival (2013) and Youth Olympics (2014).[2][3]
