The Tilburg Center of Entrepreneurship (TCE), formerly known as the Brabant Center of Entrepreneurship (BCE) is a special collaboration between Tilburg University (UvT) and Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/E). The emphasis lies on knowledge-intensive entrepreneurship and extra curricular activities for UvT and TU/E students and staff.
BCE has locations at both university campuses: in Tilburg at the faculty of Economics and Business Administration, and in Eindhoven at the faculty of Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences.
Goal
To deliver entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs from the TU/E and UvT accelerating innovation and economic growth.
The four pillars
Research
The Brabant Center of Entrepreneurship initiates both applied and fundamental research in the field of business. Research within the BCE focuses on aspects like:
- Strategy and entrepreneurship
- Entrepreneurial finance, corporate entrepreneurship
- University spin-offs
- Corporate venturing
- Entrepreneurial risk-taking
The research is embedded in the CentER (UvT) research school and BETA (TU/E)
Education
The educational program of the Brabant Center of Entrepreneurship consists of a minor and a certificate program ‘International Entrepreneurship Program’
- International Entrepreneurship Program Bachelor/Master (UvT)
International entrepreneurship program is a nine-month program, on-top-of the bachelor's or the master's degree. It combines academic courses with skills training.
- Certificaat Technology Entrepreneurship (TU/E)
An on-top-of master's degree. It combines academic courses with skills training.

Tilburg University Summer School - Entrepreneurship
In collaboration with the Tilburg University Summer School, BCE organises a four-week summer program on entrepreneurship.
