Timothy Grant Metcalfe (born 12 March 1988) is an Australian born, Los Angeles based songwriter and producer best known for his work on Robbie Williams' Take the Crown 2012 album, with writing partner Flynn Francis. He wrote eight songs on the album, which has become an international hit since its release. Take the Crown has sold over 1.5 million copies worldwide and has risen to No. 1 in seven different countries, including the UK, Germany, and Ireland.

Williams was quick to offer his praise, of Metcalfe and Francis: “How fortunate for me that Tim and Flynn came into my life… as vital and as good as any writers I've worked with. I look forward to watching their careers going from strength to strength… I love the little bastards.[1]

In June 2012, Metcalfe signed with Universal Music Publishing president, Evan Lamberg as a songwriter and producer - “Flynn and Tim are one of the most dynamic writer and production teams we have seen in a long time. Their current work with Robbie Williams is just a peek into what they are capable of doing. Expect great things from them for years to come. It's a pleasure to have them become part of the Universal Music Publishing family,"[1] said Evan Lamberg, President, Universal Music.

He is currently working on Robbie Williams' next studio album as well as his own project titled Maize.
