Tim Parton

Tim Parton was the pianist for the Southern Gospel Quartet Legacy Five, and then worked for 3 Angels Broadcasting Network in Illinois. He has also played for Gold City, the Gaither Vocal Band, The Speer Family, Vestal Goodman, The Lesters, and others.[1] He is also the father to Elijah Parton.

History

When Anthony Burger died and Bill Gaither was looking for another featured pianist for the Gaither Homecoming Series, Parton filled in.

He has worked as a studio musician in Nashville, and also as a producer/arranger. He has produced and/or co-produced albums such as Legacy Five's Acappella, Know So Salvation, A Little Christmas, and God's Been Good albums, as well as arranged songs on those albums.

He filled in for pianist Roger Bennett while he was sick and unable to travel with Legacy Five. He later got the position full-time when Bennett died.[2]

From late January until the end of September, 2013, Parton filled in as baritone and pianist for Liberty Quartet from Boise, Idaho.
