Tim Schmoll (born 22 February 1993) is a Swiss footballer who plays as a defender for New York Red Bulls II in the United Soccer League.

Career

Early career

Raised in Switzerland, Schmoll attended the International School of Geneva where he started in midfield for all four seasons. After moving to the United States for college, Schmoll played soccer while at Harvard University, appearing in 61 games and tallying 10 goals. In 2015, Schmoll was a member of the New York Red Bulls U-23 team where he began playing center back and was named to the PDL All-Eastern Conference team. [2]

Professional

On 26 January 2016, Schmoll signed a professional contract with the New York Red Bulls II. [3] Schmoll featured in his first professional match with Red Bulls II in a 2-2 draw against Toronto FC II. [4]
