As of the 2015-2016 school year, the campus housed approximately 3075 students in grades 9-12.

Student Media

The Creek Yearbook[11][12]

The Creek Yearbook is an annually published book of memories of the school year. Yearbooks are preordered by students in the fall and delivered the school each spring just before the end of the year. The yearbook staff consist of 20-25 students and one sponsor. All candid photos, captions, designs, layouts, and stories are student created. Individual student posed portraits are taken by Glamourcraft, a local photography company, and team photos are taken by local professionals at the choice of the coach. Although the size of the book varies year to year, it typically contains 344+ full color pages and a custom designed cover. Each fall, parents are given the opportunity to purchase Senior Tribute Ads in 1/4, 1/2 or full page sizes.

Innovations

The yearbook staff was among the first to integrate new technology adding first QR Codes to the yearbook in 2012 and later Aurasmas in 2014. After downloading a free Aurasma App, a reader can look for the symbol identifying a "trigger" image. When the smart device is held over the image, a video or slideshow complete with sound is played.

The Creek is a trendsetting book, often being the first to try something new. Volume 2 in 2011 featured a cover that changed colors in sunlight. Volume 3 in 2012 had real letter jacket chenille letters on the cover. Volume 4 in 2013 was a horizontal book. Volume 5 in 2014 had shiny, black gilded pages, Volume 6 in 2015 was wrapped in a zarf (the cardboard sleeve that keeps your coffee cup from burning you.) Volume 7 in 2016 had gold foil ink on the introduction pages.
