• 1346-1569: Bydgoszcz becomes part of the Kingdom of Poland.

• 1807–1815: Bydgoszcz becomes part of the Duchy of Warsaw.
• 1815–1871: Bydgoszcz becomes part of Prussia again.
• 1871–1919: Bydgoszcz becomes part of the German Empire.
