Timothy D. "Tim" Skinner is a former Democratic member of the Indiana Senate, representing the 38th District from 2002 to 2014. Skinner was an Otter Creek Precinct Committeeman. He is also a former member of the Vigo County Council from 1999-2004. He was first elected to the Indiana State Senate in 2002, serving a total of three terms until 2014, when he was defeated by Jon Ford in the general election.[1] Skinner has announced a bid to return to the Indiana General Assembly. Where he will run for Indiana's House of Representatives district 42,currently held by Republican Alan Morrison, in the 2016 election cycle. [2]
