Tincta is a text editor for Mac OS X developed by Mr. Fridge Software. Two versions of Tincta are offered: the free Tincta and the paid Tincta Pro with advanced features. Tincta is written on Objective-C using the Cocoa API.
Features
The base version provides all essential text editing features,[1] snytax coloring for more than 60 programming languages, search and replace operations and spell checking. The commercial Pro version adds features for professional users like split views, file browser and code snippet management for customized and Zen Coding abbreviations.
In version 2.0, published in January 2013, support for Mac OS X.6 was dropped. Mac OS X.7 or higher is required.
