To Play or to Die (Dutch: Spelen of Sterven) is a 1990 Dutch gay-related psychological drama film directed by Frank Krom in his directorial debut and co-written by Krom and Anne van de Putte based on a story by Anna Blaman.
Plot
Kees is an intelligent, introverted teenager bullied relentlessly at school by the athletic Charel and his friends. After a particularly humiliating incident, Kees invites Charel over in order to exact revenge against his tormentor.
