Tobi Neal Stoner (born December 3, 1984[1]) is a former Major League Baseball starting pitcher who last played for the New York Mets.[2]
Early life
Stoner was born in Landstuhl, Germany.[1] He attended Garrett College in McHenry,Maryland then went on to Davis & Elkins College in Elkins, West Virginia, graduating in 2006.[3] The Mets then drafted Stoner in the 16th round of the draft.[3] Toby's high school jersey number #13 was retired in the winter of 2010. He played for the Southern Garrett Rams.
Baseball career
Stoner was called up to the Mets Major League club on September 8, 2009,[3] and on April 18, 2010.
