Toi Māori Aotearoa
Toi Maori Aotearoa (English: Māori Arts New Zealand) is a charitable trust[1] that promotes Māori traditional arts and Māori artists, both in New Zealand and overseas.
Much of Toi Maori's funding comes indirectly from the government, through Creative New Zealand, Te Puni Kōkiri, etc.[2]
As well as many smaller and specialist events, Toi Maori has funded two large Wellington art markets (including Māori Art Market in 2009) and visiting exhibitions to North American Indigenous peoples art festivals.[3][4]
