Toivo Suursoo (born November 13, 1975) is professional ice hockey coach and player. Suursoo had a long professional career playing for several teams in Europe. Suursoo was the first Estonian-born player drafted by the National Hockey League (NHL).[1] He played two seasons in North America in the American Hockey League (AHL), but failed to make the NHL. As of 2013, Suursoo is coach of Kongsvinger in Norway.[2]
