Tom Blankenship is an American rock musician. He currently plays bass guitar for the Louisville, Kentucky band My Morning Jacket. In 2012, Blankenship wrote an article on My Morning Jacket,[1] discussing the band and growing up in Louisville, for the July issue of Louisville Magazine. Bandmates Jim James and Patrick Hallahan also wrote articles for the issue.
