Tom Walton (1922 – 18 January 1998) was an Irish hurler who played as a right wing-forward for the Kilkenny senior team.

Born in Tullaroan, County Kilkenny, Walton first excelled at hurling in his youth. He arrived on the inter-county scene when he first linked up with the Kilkenny senior team, making his debut in the 1944 championship. Walton was a regular member of the team over the next few years. During that time he won one All-Ireland medal and three Leinster medals.[1][2] He was an All-Ireland runner-up on two occasions.

At club level Walton won one championship medal with Tullaroan.
