Tomatlán "Tomato land" or "place of tomato" from Nahuatl, is a town and municipality, in Jalisco south of Cabo Corrientes in central-western Mexico. The municipality covers an area of 153 km².
As of 2005, the municipality had a total population of 35,044 people.[1]
