Anthony "Tony" Lange (born 10 December 1964) is an English retired professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Lange made over 250 appearances in the Football League between 1982 and 1987.

Career

Born in West Ham, Lange began his career with the youth team of Charlton Athletic. After making his debut in 1982, Lange also played in the Football League for Aldershot, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Torquay United, Cheltenham Town Portsmouth, West Bromwich Albion and Fulham.

In July 1989, he had the distinction of becoming Aldershot's most expensive sale when Wolverhampton Wanderers paid £150,000 for his services. However, it failed to head off the growing financial crisis at the club, who went out of business within three years of his departure.[1]

After his professional career came to an end he turned out for St. Leonards Stamcroft.
