List of Torchwood novels and audio books
The Torchwood novels are a series of spin-off novels based on the BBC science fiction television series Torchwood and published under the BBC Books imprint. All releases to date in the Torchwood novels line have been published in hardcover. The same hardcover format and three-at-a-time publishing schedule is being used for the New Series Adventures range for Doctor Who. In late December 2009, four novels were added to the store for the Amazon eReader, the Kindle.
Torchwood novels
The first three novels in the series were commissioned in May 2006[1] and were published on 4 January 2007. They sold well in the United Kingdom and went to the top of the Children's Book charts. The books themselves can be read in any order and share no internal continuity. However they often reference and foreshadow events in the series. The groups of three novels, when put together, create a linking picture across the spines displaying the team.

Radio Plays
The BBC has aired several Torchwood radio dramas featuring the cast of the series.
To tie in to Radio 4's CERN themed day in 2008, a CERN-themed radio episode of Torchwood written by Joseph Lidster, entitled "Lost Souls", aired as the day's Afternoon Play on 10 September.[11] This was the first Torchwood drama not to feature Burn Gorman and Naoko Mori.[12] Three further episodes were commissioned[13] due to the success of Lost Souls.[14] Three more radio episodes were recorded in Los Angeles for transmission in July 2011.[15]
All the dramas were set between Series 2 and 3, except "House of the Dead", occurring six months after Series 3.
