Toronto Rockets (soccer)
Not to be confused with Toronto's new subway trains with interior gangways.
The Toronto Rockets were an American Professional Soccer League (APSL) soccer club based in Toronto, Canada. They played one season: 1994.
The Toronto Rockets were a continuation of the North York Rockets, a Canadian Soccer League (CSL)/Canadian National Soccer League team and the Toronto Blizzard, a CSL/APSL team that had folded the year before, 1993. Players from both the '93 Rockets and '93 Blizzard played for the '94 Rockets. The team finished in seventh (last) place in the league standings. The team's home stadium was Centennial Park Stadium.
