Tortington is a small village in the Arun district of West Sussex, England. It lies just off the Arundel to Ford road 1.6 miles (2.6 km) southwest of Arundel. It had an Augustinian priory, Tortington Priory, but little evidence of this remains.[1] The village's former medieval parish church, St Mary Magdalene's Church, was declared redundant in 1978 but is maintained and kept open by local residents.[2]

Tortington village population now in the region of 150 has grown by the addition of the conversion of Tortington Manor, formerly New England College, to residential occupation.
