Dream Theater concert chronology |
Touring into Infinity was a tour by the progressive metal/rock band Dream Theater, promoting their fourth studio album Falling Into Infinity. The tour began September 11, 1997 in Santo André, Brazil, and concluded September 26, 1998 in São Paulo, Brazil.[2][3]
Due to the band being in a rough spot, it is one of the most distinct tours in the band's history. Dream Theater played many of the new songs in forms more close to their demo forms, most notably "Lines In The Sand" and "Take Away My Pain" and very seldom played "You Not Me" or "Burning My Soul". During the European leg of the Touring into Infinity world tour, two shows were recorded for a live album entitled Once in a LIVEtime, in France and The Netherlands.[4]
