Tower is a fictional mutant character in the Marvel Comics Universe. His first appearance was in X-Factor #2.

Fictional character biography

Tower was born in Atlanta, Georgia.

Tower was one of the Alliance of Evil, a group of mutants banded together by Apocalypse, and fought the original X-Factor. Tower attempts to kidnap the mutant Rusty Collins, but fails. The Alliance later reveals they had a power-enhancing accomplice named Michael Nowlan. After he tries to escape from the Alliance, the group threatens to kill Nowlan's girlfriend, Suzy. X-Factor interferes in the Alliance's plans, eventually defeating them and putting them into custody. The Alliance of Evil breaks out, opposing the Mutant Registration Act, but were defeated by the Beast.

After another mission battling the New Mutants, the Alliance of Evil is defeated.

Eventually the Alliance disbanded and Tower found his way to South America where he was terrorizing a small village. He was tracked down and killed by the high-tech vigilante known as the X-Cutioner.[2]

Tower is resurrected by means of the Transmode Virus to serve as part of Selene's army of deceased mutants. Under the control of Selene and Eli Bard, he takes part in the assault on the mutant nation of Utopia.[1]

Powers and abilities

Tower draws on additional extra-dimensional mass to shrink his dimensions or augment his physical size, strength, and density.
