Town Criers (musical group)

Town Criers were an Australian band formed in Melbourne in 1964.[1] They are best known for their 1968 cover of "Everlasting Love", reaching #2 on the Australian Charts.

Town Criers had hits with "Everlasting Love" (1968), "Any Old Time (You're Lonely and Sad)" (1969), "Love Me Again" (1969) and "Living In a World of Love" (1970).

Founding vocalist Andy Agtoft was replaced around 1968, by Barry Smith from Adelaide.[1]
