Towngas Telecommunications Fixed Network Limited (Towngas Telecom), a wholly owned subsidiary of The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Ltd. (Towngas), is a Hong Kong-based fixed telecommunications network operator.
By leveraging (GIG) Glass in Gas technology and Towngas gas pipeline system, Towngas Telecom has created a fibre network, providing high-end telecommunication infrastructure services and quality network solutions offering substantial synergies and economies of scale for telecom carriers, service providers and large corporations.
In 2007, Towngas Telecom expanded its business into mainland China. By leveraging their (GAG) Glass along Gas technology, providing more cost-efficient and environmentally-friendly telecommunications and infrastructure networks for carriers and broadcasters.
In recent years, Towngas Telecom has seen rapid growth in the data centre business. Towngas Telecom has been providing professional services to corporations, with self-build data centres in Hong Kong and mainland China, total rack area is over 60,000 square metres. Of these data centres meet various international standards such as ISO, FISC, and TIA-942.
