Toxobotys boveyi is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Bänziger in 1987. It is found in Thailand.[1]

The wingspan is 27–29 mm. Adult males are zoophilous and have been observed sucking perspiration from humans and sucking at a sore on an elephant.

Etymology

The species is named for Prof. Dr. P. Bovey.[2]
