Tracy Dockray

Tracy Dockray (born 1962) is an American artist. She illustrated the current Harper Collins editions of Beverly Cleary's children's novels.

Biography

Tracy Dockray spent her early years growing up on the plains of Texas where her hobby included reading books and she had an immense love for animals and her pets. Eventually she moved to New York. Here she acquired various motorcycles. She gained a new hobby of traveling around. Her career made several transitions. She currently resides in Greenwich Village, New York with her husband, children, and pets that include a dog, hairless cat, and mouse. She is mostly known for the popular series that she has illustrated which is the Ramona Series and the Mouse and the Motorcycle Series by Beverly Cleary. Altogether, Tracy Dockray has illustrated over 21 books. She has illustrated two books that she has written herself. [1] Her careers throughout the years included the following:

Tracy Dockray has been to the Learning Leaders Author's Read-aloud Program that is located in New York so that she could lecture there. She has also been to the annual Children's Literary Event that is located at the Bethlehem Center in Dallas, Texas.[2] Tracy Dockray is a member of the Society of Illustrators. She received her education from Pratt and holds a Master of Fine Arts. [3]
