Tradepedia is an international education institution that provides education to professional traders regarding trading on financial markets. Tradepedia was founded by financial analyst and risk management expert, Avramis Despotis.

History

The company was founded in 2009 as Phi (Φ) Trading Academy in the European Island of Cyprus specializing in organizing financial seminars targeting both professionals and private investors in the European and Middle Eastern region.

In 2013 the company rebanded to Tradepedia and expanded to offer seminars and courses in stocks and foreign exchange trading primarily in the Middle East and North Africa region and setting up the institution's international headquarters at the Emirates Financial Towers in Dubai International Financial Centre, United Arab Emirates.[1] The DIFC is an independent jurisdiction under the UAE Constitution, and the central hub of financial services in the emerging markets of the region.

In 2013, Tradepedia signed a pact with XM.com, one of world's leading retail brokerage companies, to provide its trading and investing education to customers in MENA region.[2]
