Tranquilidade (tranquility in English) is a Portuguese insurance company, founded in Oporto in 1871. It is part of Apollo Global Management.
Tranquilidade has subsidiaries in several countries, such as Spain, Angola and Mozambique.
In 2006, a subsidiary company, called "T-Vida, Companhia de Seguros" was created, as a sequence of "Espírito Santo Financial Group" reorganization.
