Trashed is an award-winning ^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4] documentary feature film, written and directed by British film-maker Candida Brady.^[5] It follows actor Jeremy Irons as he investigates the global scale and impact of humanity's modern waste.^[6] Sean Bobbitt (Hunger,^[7] 12 Years a Slave^[8]) is the film's Director of Photography.

Trashed was premiered at Cannes Film Festival in 2012 ^[10] where it was nominated for the Camera d'Or.^[11] Since then it has been screened at the UK Houses of Parliament,^[12] the Welsh Assembly,^[13] the Scottish Parliament,^[14] the European Parliament^[15] and the French National Assembly.^[16] It has been shown at film festivals across the world, from Sarajevo to Kuala Lumpur ^[17] and public screenings and educational forums worldwide,^[18] from Yale^[19] to Jakarta.^[20]
