The Traverse City Premium Outlets, a.k.a. Horizon Outlets were an outlet mall in Garfield Township. Its major outlets were Old Navy, Gap, Kitchen Collection, and the Horizon Cinema.

Major nearby stores, such as Lowe's, Kohl's, and Michaels are considered outlets. It is known for its distinct metallic blue roof.
Redevelopment
In 2014, the Old Navy closed its doors and moved to the Grand Traverse Mall. After this, more and more stores closed. In October 2015, Carmike Cinemas announced that it would build a fourteen theater cinema in the place of the mall. This theater was completed in January 2016. It opened with the fourteenth theater as an IMAX.
Controversy
Many locals had a list of stores to be built:

- Lucky's Market
- Halloween Store
Grand Traverse Mall officials announced that Dick's would be built in place of the Kerasotes Theater 9, which closed in December 2015. Dick's is supposed to open in Fall 2016. Costco announced that it would open a store on Cherry Capital Airport property on South Airport Road with further property redesigning. Lucky's Market said that it would open in the vacant Horizon Cinemas.
