Trevor Maynard is a poet and editor of "The Poetic Bond",[1] an annual anthology of international poetry garnered from new media, social and professional networking. The submission process is unique in that there is no restriction on theme, form or length of each piece, and the choice of selection for publication is made on the basis of the emergent themes within the pool of work each year. This allows the anthology to develop organically, with the intention of capturing what could be termed the poetic Zeitgeist.
Maynard's earlier writing career was as a playwright, writing on the London Fringe at theatres such as The White Bear, Etcetera, Pentameters, and Barons Court. His plays were reviewed in Time Out,[2] What's On,[3] The Stage, Ham and High, and The Morning Star.[4]
Actors performing in his plays have includes Fiona Wellburn,[5] Rebecca Cardinale,[6] Johnny Harris,[7] Peter Attard, Joanna Robinson-Holden[8] and Robin Ince.[9]
