The Roxy Hotel, formerly the Tribeca Grand Hotel, is a hotel located at 2 Avenue of the Americas between Walker and White Streets in the Tribeca neighborhood of Downtown Manhattan, New York City.[1] It is the sister hotel of the Soho Grand Hotel which is located a few blocks away.[2] Both hotels are owned and operated under Grand Life Hotels.[3] Tribeca Grand opened in 2000 and has 201 guest rooms.[4][5] The hotel's event venues are often used for movie premiers, screenings, and social events.[6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14] In September 2015 the hotel re-branded and changed its name to The Roxy Hotel.[15][16][17][18]
The hotel has a jazz club named The Django which is located underground within the hotel.[19][20]
