Trichocosmia is a genus of moths of the Noctuidae family. It contains only one species, Trichocosmia inornata, which is found from Texas to California, north to Utah.[1]

The wingspan is about 25 mm. Adults are pale tan-ochre with faint transverse markings and a faint reniform spot. The frons is slightly rounded out. They are on wing from March to July in California.
