Trichopodus cantoris is a species of gourami native to Asia.[1]
Etymology
Named after Dr. Cantor as the type came from his collection.[2]
Description
The two black spots are united by a longitudinal zigzag band running from the mouth through the eye to the caudal fin. The caudal is white-spotted. The height of the body is two-fifths or three-sevenths of the SL.[2]
Distribution
The type specimen came from Penang, Malaysia.[2] Distribution is likely to be throughout the Malay Peninsula.
