Tripoli Entrepreneurs Club

The Tripoli Entrepreneurs Club was launched in November 2013 in Tripoli, Lebanon.[1] It is a grass roots initiative aimed at inspiring and supporting local youth to think critically about how to start a business through workshops and Young Entrepreneur Boot Camps[2] among other events.

The idea started as a response to an urgent need in the community: finding a solution for the lack of job opportunities and high unemployment rates. One of the main objectives of this club is to enable youth to create businesses which can generate jobs and economic growth in the near future.

The broad mission of TEC is to strengthen the social and economic backbone of Tripoli, Lebanon through providing aspiring entrepreneurs and youth with strong mentorship and the infrastructure needed to grow new companies.

The organisation has been featured on TV[3] and received positive mention from British Ambassador to Lebanon, Tom Fletcher.[4]
