The mountain wren (Troglodytes solstitialis) is a species of bird in the Troglodytidae family. It is found in the Andes or north-west Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and western Venezuela. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
