Trollsletta

Trollsletta ("The Troll Plain") is a coastal plain of Jan Mayen. It has a length of about 1,400 meters, and is located on the southern side of the island, inside the southwestern part of the bay Rekvedbukta, between BÃ¥tvika and Helenesanden.[1][2] The only settlement of Jan Mayen, Olonkinbyen, is located at Trollsletta.[3] The coast consists of low and splintered cliffs.[4]
