Troy Hayden is the weeknight 6 and 10pm news anchor for Fox 10 News in Phoenix, Arizona. He has been an anchor at the station since 1994. He started his media career as a sports writer at the Sacramento Bee, then worked in television in Sacramento, Eureka,[1] and Reno.[2] He attended Sacramento State University. He has been named Anchor of the Year by the Associated Press.[3] He has also been awarded an Emmy as "Best Anchor," been named "Best 10pm Anchor" by Phoenix Magazine, and "Best Live Reporter" by the Phoenix New Times.
In May of 2013, Hayden conducted an exclusive interview with murderer Jodi Arias just 20 minutes after her conviction that was aired internationally. In October of 2014, Hayden received an Emmy award for that interview along with an Emmy as "Best Anchor," and an Emmy for his work during an embark on the USS Ronald Reagan aircraft carrier all on the same night.
Hayden is married to former news anchor Stephanie Angelo and they have two daughters.
