Troy Henley

Troy Henley (born January 13, 1997) is an American major junior ice hockey player for the Peterborough Petes of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). Troy was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and now lives in Paulsboro, a small town in southern New Jersey. Henley is a right defenseman, who originally started as a goalie in his younger years. He holds belts in Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts and was a very talented baseball pitcher and catcher. He was drafted in the second round, 20th overall into the Ontario Hockey League by the Ottawa 67's in 2013. That same year, he served as an alternate captain for the United States Under-17 Team that competed in the Five Nations Tournament in Bratislava, Slovakia. Team USA went undefeated and took home the gold medal. Henley will be eligible for the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. [1] [2] [3] [4]
