Trudy Richards
Gertrude "Trudy" Richards (died 2008) was a 1950s jazz and swing singer. Originally a backing singer, then singer with the Charles Barnet band, she was signed as a solo artist on Capitol and released the album Crazy In Love! in 1957.[1] After marriage she relaunched her career as Trudy Richards Moreault for a second series of singles on Decca.[2] Her recording of Can't Help Lovin' Dat Man was used on The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (soundtrack)
