TrueMoney is a fintech brand, providing e-payment services in Southeast Asia. Its platform includes TrueMoney Wallet, WeCard by MasterCard, TrueMoney Cash Card, Kiosk, Express, Payment Gateway and Remittance.[1]
TrueMoney Wallet is an electronic wallet that allows users to scan and pay bills, top up their mobiles, purchase the TrueMoney Cash Card, purchase the Alipay Purchase Card, purchase Line stickers, purchase Facebook items and activate the WeCard by MasterCard. The WeCard by MasterCard is a virtual and physical prepaid debit card that can be used to make purchases online and at any outlets which accept MasterCard. The TrueMoney Cash Card can be used for mobile and game topup. The kiosk can be used to pay bills, top up mobile and top up TrueMoney Wallet. Express is over-the-counter service with TrueMoney agents to pay bills and top up mobile. Payment Gateway is the service for online merchants to receive payment from buyers for their goods. Remittance is the cross-border money transfer service.[2]
TrueMoney was founded in 2003 as part of True Corporation but is now under Ascend Corporation, which is a spin-off of True Corporation and a subsidiary of C.P. Group.[3]
