Trunk Archive is an image licensing agency, based in New York City.[2] Matthew Moneypenny serves as the agency's CEO.[3][4]

The company was started in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2004 by a group of Danes, including serial entrepreneur Mickey Beyer-Clausen who also served as the company's CEO until 2007. In 2013, the company got acquired by Waddell & Reed and Ivy Asset Strategy Funds.[5]

Trunk acquired Snapper Media, an Australian-based celebrity and creative image licensing agency, in September 2013.[6] In February 2014, Trunk announced that it had acquired Bernstein & Andriulli (B&A) and sister company, Gallery Stock, both of which retained their brand identities and continued operations under Howard Bernstein's direction.[7]

In 2015, Trunk Archive accused 2600: The Hacker Quarterly of copyright infringement and demanded the publication pay Trunk for use of inkblots on the Spring 2012 cover of 2600. The magazine maintains the ink blotches in question are not owned by Trunk, but a Finnish artist who published their works on DeviantArt.[8]
