Tsukisamu Dome (月寒ドーム) is an indoor sporting arena located in Toyohira-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. The full capacity of the arena is 5,831.
Overview
It hosted some of the ice hockey event at the 1972 Winter Olympics.[2]
This facility is currently used for car exhibitions and sales, concerts, sports events, and as a convention center. The ice rink was definitively removed.
The Tsukisamu Dome is scheduled to be demolished in 2015, because of the increasing cost of maintenance of this aging facility.
