Tum: A Dangerous Obsession (Hindi: तुम) is a Bollywood Hindi film released in February 2004. Directed by Aruna Raje, it stars Manisha Koirala, Rajat Kapoor and Karan Nath in the lead roles.

Plot

Kamini Gupta (Manisha Koirala) and Vinod Gupta (Rajat Kapoor) with their two children are happy family. Vinod, a CEO of a multinational corporation is very busy and has no time for the family. He is unable to make it to his wedding anniversary, leaving Kamini all alone. A young photographer, Jatin Pandey (Karan Nath) gives her company. He takes her pictures, they dine and dance together. In the morning when she wakes up she finds herself in Jatin’s bed. Jatin now craves and burns for Kamini who is the forbidden fruit in his life, leading from passion to a dangerous obsession. One day Jatin is found murdered. Inspector Yusuf Malik (Aman Veram) takes the bizarre case. A murder trail with obsession and passion. The Upcoming Hollywood movie The Boy Next Door is Loosely based on this movies Story.

Reception

The film received mainly negative reviews from critics. The Times of India gave it one and a half stars and called it "a forgettable affair".[1]
