Tum Bin Jaaoon Kahaan was a Hindi television serial that aired on Zee TV in 2003/2004. The show was based on a popular Indian novel November Rain, which was the first Indian novel in English to be made into a daily prime time television series.

Concept

The story revolves around Aryan who loses his girlfriend Muskaan in a road mishap. Blaming himself for her death, he goes into a state of depression and tries all means to get in touch with her but fails.

Then he meets a guru who teaches him how to communicate with the dead through a planchette...a board that sends messages under spiritual guidance. That’s when the action starts which gets spookier as the serial proceeds.ĐĐďíÌììľľľ

Synopsis

Muskaan is the apple of her parents' eye. She lives in Delhi with her parents, and younger sister. They go to Mumbai to visit relatives and Muskaan ends up staying there to go to Medical School. She meets Aryan and they end up falling in love. Aryan has a friend Monty, who does dark arts and knows how to talk to spirit. One day, when the big punditji is looking at Muskaan's Kundali, he says that it is incomplete. This worries her mom but they don't think much of it. Aryan and Muskaan want to marry each other, and Muskaan tells her parents but right when Aryan is supposed to come visit them, he gets a call that his dad has had a heart attack and has to leave immediately. He tells his best friend (can't remember name) to let Muskaan know, and he will be back ASAP but she just tells Muskaan that he's gone. Muskaan, heartbroken, agrees to marry some other guy. On the wedding day, Aryan convinces Muskaan to run away with her and they flee on his bike. They meet with an accident: Aryan is injured but Muskaan loses her life. Aryan is depressed and can't do much. He convinces Monty to help him talk to Muskaan. So they do and Muskaan tells him to move on, that she is gone. But Aryan tells her she can't because he can't move on. Emotional, she vows to return for him. She gives him a clue that she will be born in 13 months, on December 2nd in Omkareshwar, and that he will get a clue about where soon. She throws yellow flowers at him and by chance he founds a painting of a house with yellow flowers in Omkareshwar. He is happy and everyone is surprised but happy that he is happy. 13 months later, he goes to the house in Omkareshwar and an old couple live there. He asks them if there was a girl born here and they tell him no, and to go away. Dejected he leaves. A couple come to visit the old couple, asking for forgiveness. It's their daughter and son in law and the daughter is obviously very pregnant. She gives birth that night. When they are trying to find a name for her, punditji says it should start with M or K. The mother likes Muskaan or Khushi as the name, so they name her Khushi.
