The Turkmen National Theatre of Youth named after Alp Arslan (Turkmen: Alp Arslan adyndaky milli Ýaşlar teatry) is located on Archabil avenue of Ashgabat.[1][2]

History

In the past, theater nestled in the old building of the former cinema building.

Since 2006, the theater is located in south of Ashgabat. The building was built by Turkish company GAP Inşaat and inaugurated on 21 October 2006. Four-story building. Area 9000 square meters. The theatre walls are lined with Italian marble, the facade is decorated with tall columns and stained glass windows. Building has four elevators. In the theater scene with two spinning halls with 800 and 200 seats. Area of the main stage area - more than 400 square meters. On the square in front of the theater situate a monument to Turkmen ruler Alp Arslan. In the area adjacent to the theater in the territory of more than 1.5 hectares divided Square. The cost of the building - $ 17 million.[3][4]
