Two X (Korean: 투엑스; an acronym for Top (T), Win(W), One(O), and ‘X‘ signifying ‘multiply) is a South Korean quintet girl group. The group consists of Jiyou, Eun, Minjoo, Surin, and Eunyoung and debuted on August 16th, 2012, at Mnet MCountdown Music Show. They have released two singles, "Double Up" and "Ring Ma Bell", the latter charting in Korea.[1]

Career

Main vocalist Jiyoo was featured on the song “You” on the album Rainism by Rain. Eunyoung, the rapper of the group, previously worked as a backup dancer for Rain, Big Bang, and 2NE1.[2] Surin featured in the film Death Bell. They were put together by the management company J. Tune Camp who announced their debut in August 2012.[3]

The single "Double Up" was released on August 20, 2012, featuring four tracks titled "Initium," "Double Up," "Ring Marks," "뿜 찍고 글랩,"(Boom Take Clap) and an instrumental version of the title track.[4] On February 12, 2013 J. Tune released the second single "Ring Ma Bell(링마벨)" produced by Rado.[5] In November 2014, Two X officially joined Star Gaze Entertainment and ended their contract with J. Tune Entertainment.[6]
