Tylerius spinosissimus , the Spiny blaasop, is a species of pufferfish. Originally native to the Indian Ocean, the southwestern Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean along the coast of South Africa,[2] it has colonised the Mediterranean Sea as a Lessepsian migrant.[3] This species grows to a length of 12 centimetres (4.7 in) TL.[2] It is the only species in its genus.[4]
