Typhlops mcdowelli is a species of snake in the family Typhlopidae (sensu lato).[2][3]

Etymology

The specific name, mcdowelli, is in honor of American herpetologist Samuel Booker McDowell (born 1928).[4]

Geographic range

T. mcdowelli is endemic to Papua New Guinea.[1]
