Typhoon Vicente
The name Vicente has been used for two tropical cyclones in the northwestern Pacific Ocean. The name was submitted by the United States. Vicente is also on the rotary list in the eastern Pacific but has since never been used.
- Tropical Storm Vicente (2005) (T0516, 16W) – Caused severe flooding in Vietnam and Thailand.
- Typhoon Vicente (2012) (T1208, 09W, Ferdie) – Affected the Philippines, Hong Kong, Macau and Guangdong, China. It made the HKO issue the Hurricane Signal, No. 10, the first time since York in 1999.
- Due to confusion of the naming system in both West and East North Pacific, the name was retired and was replaced by the name Lan.
